FYI there is a TAMBA Trail work day in Tahoe City on Saturday, June 30 to help the Forest Service build a new connector trail to the TRT. 9am-4pm. Meet at Tahoe XC, 925 Country Club Drive, it will be a 2 mile ride up to the worksite. Bring long sleeves, long pants, and gloves along with your helmet and bike. I recommend packing that stuff with you as well as a pair of shoes or boots to change into at the worksite. Lunch will be provided as well as an end of day BBQ and refreshments back at Tahoe XC.
